What We Teach
- We believe the Bible is God's only inspired revelation to man. It is infallible and is the authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:16-17).
- We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1 Jn 5:7).
- We believe Jesus Christ is deity, and lived on the earth in human form. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of God as our intercessor. He will one day return in glory to rapture His church and establish the kingdom of God on the earth. (Jn 1:1, Matt 1:18, 2 Cor 5:21, Acts 10:38, 1 Jn 2:2, Luke 24:39, Heb 4:14, 1 Thess 4:16-18, Rev 20:16)
- We believe mankind's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. We are made right with God by grace through faith. (Rom 5:12-19, Eph 2:11-18, Rom 3:23, John 3:16, Rom 10:9, Eph 2:8, Jn 1:12).
- We believe in a spirit filled life and the baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower all believers. This results in a deeper expression of spiritual fruit, a greater growth in Christ-likeness, a genuine manifestation of spiritual gifts, and a more effective prayer life (Acts 2:4, 38-39, 10:44-46, 19:1-6, Eph 5:18, Gal 5:22-23, 2 Cor 3:18, 1 Cor 12:1-11, Rom 8:26-27).
- We believe the church is the body of Christ and exists to evangelize the world, worship God, and equip for ministry (1 Cor 12:22-27, Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-16, 1 Cor 12:13, Eph 4:11-16, 1 Cor 12:28, 14:12).
- We believe in the sacraments of the church established by Jesus Christ; Communion (the Lord's Supper and baptism by immersion as a symbol and witness of the new birth (Matt 28:19; 1 Pet 3:20-22).
