Are We Crazy?
Hah, maybe! Okay, okay we know it sounds weird. Don't come here? Aren't you supposed to be a church, accept everyone? Let us explain: It’s not because we don’t want you to come. As a matter of fact our number one goal is to help you to find a relationship with Jesus and then to help you grow in your relationship with Him. The day that we stop doing that is the day we need to close shop.
So why shouldn't you come? Well, if you want a church that plays music which is boring, a sermon that puts you to sleep, or if you want a church that doesn’t care about your problems, then we aren’t the church for you.
But, if you want a church that has worship music that rocks, a message that is relevant to what you are going through in your life, and where it’s absolutely unacceptable for you to have to deal your problems by yourself then we are the church for you.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10am off Emory Road so come check us out for yourself. At EP we like to say no perfect people allowed. Our church isn't perfect, but it's real, honest, and serious about getting to know God. It's a place where you can bravely ask the most basic questions about God and not feel uncomfortable. A place where you are loved no matter who you are, where you've been, or what you've done. A place where you can find hope and discover what following God is all about.
You don't have to dress up. You don't have to pretend your life is perfectly in order. You'll find a friendly, relaxed place where you can be yourself. You'll be encouraged, challenged, and taught how to connect with God. You'll hear teaching you can apply to your life today. You might even experience worship in a way you never have before.
We want people to see Jesus for who he really is and to begin a relationship with him. As a church, we want to do life together, as we seek to grow and understand what God has in store for our lives.
Oh, and if you have kids, bring them too! EdgeKids (our children's area) provides a safe and loving atmosphere for kids from birth to age 8.
